KITCHEN EXTRACT SYSTEM & EXTRACTOR FAN CLEANING

Insurance companies now recommend that all kitchen extract systems are cleaned at least annually.
If you do not have your system cleaned regulary and have a fire in your kitchen, then you may not be covered by your insurers.

A dirty extraction system within a commercial kitchen can be a serious fire hazard and a risk to the health of your employee’s and customers.
Canopy Cleans cleaning process will remove grease build up and deposits from all parts within the extract system, we can also fit access hatches within your system for ease of future cleaning.
Along with the ductwork Canopy Clean will clean the extractor fan within the system, the service will prolong the fans life and reduce wear and tear on the fans bearings and motor, keeping the fan clear and clean will also improve the efficiency of your system.

If you do have a fire in your kitchen and cannot provide the insurers with evidence of extract system cleaning, then you may not be covered. Also please bear in mind that if you do not take suitable precautions, and in the event of personal injury or death resulting from a fire associated with a poorly maintained system, charges of corporate liability or manslaughter many be brought against the kitchen operator.

THE SERVICE

Produce computer aided drawings that illustrate the geography of the system for use by the service teams and for your records.
Identify the location of access points and determine if additional access panels may be required (often required in order to access equipment within the ducting such as turning vanes, fans or attenuators).
Determine scaffolding requirements, security arrangements and other service information.
Determine the manpower required to restore and maintain a system in optimum efficient condition.
Establish the level of grease deposit built up within the system.


Plan an ongoing maintenance programme. Provide realistic price proposals.
Provide you with signed certificate of clean, dated photographic evidence of the works carried out.
Degreasing of all accessible branch ducts, main trunking, roof top ductwork and equipment therein, e.g. dampers, silencers, turning vanes, fire sensory and extinguishing equipment, fan and exit grilles etc.  from behind the filters at canopies to the exit point of the system.
ALL areas worked on within the premises are protected and the kitchen areas left clean
